On Wednesday evening, we made our way to Stanford's Bookshop in Bristol for the launch of C.J Flood's new book, 'Night Wanderers'.
Bustling with book lovers, there was a wonderfully warm atmosphere in Stanford's which is a delightful bookshop in Corn Street. Chelsea (C.J) was busy chatting and signing books as we joined the crowd.
Chatting to others, I was told that Night Wanderers is 'a joy of an experience. Chelsea is truly one of the most gifted writers. Every line is just perfect.'
The book is about relationships, centred around two girls and their friendship. The girls are 'bolshy, beautiful, messy, vulnerable, perceptive and wise...as girls are. It is a beautiful, important read for anyone who has had a best friend.'
Chelsea read the first two chapters of her book, introducing us to Rosie and Ti. Dramatic, humorous and full of personality, the story captivated the audience.
It was a lovely evening- thank you to Simon and Schuster and Stanford's for the invitation. I am currently reading 'Night Wanderers' and will review it soon.
