Our amazing Reading Champions have been reviewing again. Here's Hana's review of 'A Girl Called Owl' by Amy Wilson.

This magical story was absolutely incredible! At first, it was varied emotions; Owl had a good life, but deep inside, she wanted to know who and where her father is. Her mum sounded quite cool, chill and very artsy, but she never told Owl anything.

Unfortunately, her best friend had her own problems. So her life didn’t seem great! To top it all off, Owl starts crying ice and sees ice patterns on her skin! Will that help to find her dad?

I definitely recommend this book to Year 5 and Year 6 due to the fact that some of the words are very big and can be confusing.
